Invisible Worker #3

Our latest issue explores 8 different stories from the frontline of the Covid-19 pandemic, looking at how people in precarious work have been impacted by the shockwaves sent through our economy.

We hear from an indebted construction worker; a Lyft driver working in California; and a sex worker getting to grips with shifting their work online. Within them, we start to see the moving parts that come together to shape an individualā€™s vulnerabilities to crises like these. In parts, some of these stories are told with humour - some are, inevitably, bleak - but always, they are imbued with a deep humanity.
